Brass three weight driven movement in an a heavily carved English oak case. The brass dial has silvered chapter ring, tune and silent selection dials, moon phase and brass corner spandrels, c1890
CONDITION:
the lower case retains its original finish with age splits. The hood (not carved) is a new fabrication. The dial is in good condition. The movement will need service but is striking; tries to chime. If clock still had its original hood, it would be worth 4 times our estimate. Ht 95 1/2"
